WHAT TO EXPECT
A fun learning environment for all players learning the basic aspects of the soccer
curriculum.
All aspects of the curriculum include:
• Dribbling
• Passing
• Receiving
• Finishing
The u8 program creates an environment where players can engage with one another and
develop as young players. To help this, small sided games are used to encourage decision
making, creativity, and special awareness. Small sided games range from 1v1 2v1 2v2
2v3 3v3 4v3 4v4. This allows players to be able to play in a range of positions ready for
larger 8v8 games.
Games
Friendly games are played against other local u8 teams. These games will be played with
the months of Sept thru November. Throughout the summer the teams will practice and
will play in summer friendly tournaments. January thru till March will be preparation for
u9 try outs.
